WELCOME to Polesel.com Hello! Ciao! His home in Italy was located at...
He came to live in Rockdale, Illinois - USA, a small town near Joliet - about 35 miles Southwest of Chicago, IL. He returned to Italy temporarily and returned on the "S.S. France" (See Ship Manifect images Page 1 (264Kb) , Page 2 (239Kb), arriving in New York on July 10, 1914. Our family association with Rockdale is still strong. (Click here to see a newpaper article written by my sister, Sally, as part of the recognition of the Rockdale Centennial.) This website is being created to facilitate the sharing of information regarding the "Polesel" family tree, history, news and events. I am especially interested in Links to other sites containing Polesel information as well as creating a Polesel Family Tree. If you have any other information on Polesel links or websites, please let me know. Greetings to All... Pete Polesel |

April 20, 2006: We mourn the passing of Amália Polesel of Caracas Venezuela. I was very proud to have communications with Amália since the beginnings of this website. I am including the note I received from Claudinei who learned of Amália's death from her son Marco. It is a fitting tribute to a pioneer of the Polesel family Geneology. NOSSOS
ANTEPASSADOS Desde
informações só existem graças a Dona Amália Taurchini Polesel,
Tenho
por ela grande admiração, pois seus gesto,
pioneiro e generoso, incentivou
pesquisadores do mundo inteiro.
Pete
Polesel, nos Estados Unidos e Renzo Polesel, na Itália, desenvolveram
páginas na internet (www.polesel.com
e www.polesel.it).
Outros parentes
pesquisa, gerando descobertas importantes. ================= Sorry for the translation errors, but the translation from Portuguese to English was provided through an automated program found at http://world.altavista.com/tr. OUR ANCESTORS This family tree is
